As the Holy Month of Ramadan fast approaches, those in and around Dubai know that they will be spoilt for choice when it is time to break their fast. During this special time, I will be sharing with you some of the best places for an Iftar feast like Flavors restaurant at Hawthorn Suites in Dubai

Recently I was invited to an Iftar preview at Flavors Restaurant within Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham. The restaurant is in one of the most prime locations in Dubai – the prestigious Jumeirah Beach Residence complex – and getting there is quite a breeze, considering you can already see Hawthorn Suites clearly written in red from a distance. But if you are not sure, GPS can come in handy.

On the day, Flavors restaurant, which is on the plaza level of the Hawthorn Suites, was set to offer up a real feast. The food was delightfully spread from one end to the other, and I was told it was exclusively prepared for that occasion, and that is how it was going to be every sundown during the Holy Month.

The sumptuous cuisine included Arabic mezze with sambousek, traditional Ouzi, falafel and kibbeh, and mixed grill. The dessert corner, which caught most of my attention, had well-loved desserts like baklava, muhallabia and umm ali. The layout at this particular corner was very enticing, and just in case you were on a particular diet, this would probably be your double cheat day. There were also some international dishes, which added variety to this amazing feast that Chef Rusindu Rodrigo and his staff broke a sweat on.

Iftar Cost at Flavors Restaurant Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham

Now to money matters. The Iftar feast at Flavors restaurant at Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham in Dubai will be priced at AED95/ per person inclusive of special Ramadan juices and soft drinks. Kids aged six to 12 years will dine for only AED 45/ while children below six years old will dine for free.

There’s also a catch just in case you plan on having your buddies over for the feast; an awesome 3+1 deal applies, as in when you come four, you pay for only 3! The Iftar will be available from sunset until 10:00 pm. As for those of us who will not be fasting, Flavors Restaurant will offer a la carte or set menu for lunch from 1 pm to 4 pm.
