Quick Fix Treatments for a Radiant Skin

Beauty Spotlight: Chic Eco-friendly Rituals Body Creams and MoisturizersI like having skin quick fix treatments once in a while just for the sake of maintenance purposes. Although I’m not yet quite sure what I am maintaining, I’m always in love with the results (and how my skin currently looks). Skin quick fix treatments are always the way to go, not unless you have a skin issue that needs deeper skin treatment like acne scarring, serious skin pigmentation, skin tags etc. So to help you decide which skin quick fix treatments might be right for you, I have listed a handful of my favorite; in addition to one or two that I am yet to go for.

Fractional Laser skin therapy as part of skin quick fix treatments

This sounds a bit fancy and all but it is one of those skin quick fix treatments done by triggering skin renewal and collagen formation by allowing laser pulses to break through your skin. The therapy is used to drastically reduce wrinkles (I don’t have any yet), skin tightening, treating post-acne scars (I should consider), cellulite reduction, skin resurfacing, and stretch marks reduction among others. Depending on how deep your skin issue is, you can see results after the first session or after two or three sessions. Expect some redness after that.

Laser Hair Removal

Electrolysis Treatment

I love laser hair removal; it is an oldie but a goodie. I always regard laser hair removal highly because you can never go wrong with it. That’s if it is being done by a certified laser therapist who knows the right parameters and all. If you are tired of shaving or waxing all the time, by going the laser hair removal route, you will be starting a journey of permanent hair reduction. In short, it is for those who fancy smooth and silky skin without unwanted hair growing back overnight. This makes it best for men as well. The session can take less than 10 minutes or more, depending on where you want to “remove” the unwanted hair. And it always stands out as one of the best skin quick fix treatments.

Chemical Skin Peels

This is one of the many skin resurfacing treatments that basically gets rid of the old and blemished top layer, giving way for a healthier and more radiant skin to take over. Chemicals of varying strengths, from mild to strong, like hyaluronic acid are applied to problem areas like the face, hands, neck, elbows or feet. The strength depends on your skin type as well as the severity of your skin issue. Chemical skin peels are used to correct blemishes, superficial acne scarring, sun damage, and fine lines. After the treatment, you should expect your radiant look after five to seven days.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion3Microdermabrasion, which I just posted a couple of days ago, is your key to a wow-effect. It is very non-invasive and relaxing, leaving your skin looking fresh and glowing; hence the reason it’s part of the hassle-free skin quick fix treatments. During Microdermabrasion, the skin specialist peels off (you won’t even feel a thing) your damaged top layer of the skin using some special crystals and then a couple of masks and caviar later, you will be ready to walk the red carpet. The treatment doesn’t have any downtime and needs at least an hour of your time.

Mesotherapy

Quick fixes4This is the one treatment that I have not yet gone through although I have a few people around me who have. It is a non-surgical skin treatment that works by microinjecting the skin (don’t confuse it with Microneedling). Mesotherapy can be used on areas that have some excess fatty deposits and other hardened tissues (thinking cellulite). This injecting dissolves these fats and improves blood flow, which gives your skin some new life. Just in case you were wondering, the dissolved localized fat exits the body through lymphatic drainage. Mesotherapy works best for cellulite reduction, skin rejuvenation, and hair loss treatment among others.
