There’s no denying that growing enthusiasm in the world of photography, especially in the UAE, has instantly become very popular. And this hobby has even become a source of income for young people (I know a few folks doing this). And this is why Edison, whose work has been commissioned by elite people including sheikhs, ambassadors, high-end hotels, luxury yacht clubs and theme parks, is sharing these photography tips. He believes that this growing trend will shape the future because a well captured photograph can bring national or international recognition.
Photography Tips to Advance Photography skills
The Perfect Photo is a Myth
According to Edison, there’s no such thing as the perfect photo. Every photographer will always pick holes in their own work, especially the best of them. The perfect photo is only in your mind and is more likely going to be the idea of your next shot. The best advice about taking a good picture is to take a lot of shots. Even the worst photographer can get lucky if they stack the odds!
Personal Process
Taking photographs is always a personal process. It’s an exploration of your own picture versus my picture of you (I feel lost). You have to treat this process as an extended discussion between subject and photographer. And it will kind of help if you like people as well.

The Camera is Not the Most Important Thing
Never think that the camera is the most important thing. The camera is a tool. It’s the environment, the atmosphere and the collaboration that will get you the shot. So find a camera that you are comfortable with and enjoy using it and stick to that.
Take Risks
For you to advance your photography skills, you need to experiment and take risks. There is no right and wrong. So you have to be brave and go for it. Experiment, experiment, experiment. Take inspiration from other people by all means, but never copy.
The Lens is Just a Window
Whilst looking through the lens, think of it as a window. The more you imagine that, the better it is for you. This is because it will break down the barriers between you and your subject. In front of the camera, everyone gets nervous no matter how famous they are. So learning to smile and communicate with your eyes as if the camera isn’t there will greatly help you.
What would you like to bet that after reading these photography tips you’ll definitely advance your photography skills? Well, not necessarily to the point of winning the Pulitzer Prize for Photography, but taking a slightly better photo. Well, you never know; you might just end up getting that award if you put your heart into it.
