Well, the party season is officially here and most of us are way too excited! But from the late nights and moving from one place to another, we have to find a way to look gorgeous most of the time, if not all the time. And with all this partying, the skin can easily suffer from all the changes of going off-routine, in addition to all that makeup you’re using. From dry and dull skin to dark circles under the eyes, there are a lot of skin disasters waiting to happen. You don’t need to worry because I’ve put together some beauty treatments (some of which I’ve tried) that will guarantee your skin survives the party season.
Beauty Treatments for the Party Season
Facial Peels for a Glowing Skin
Gentle facial peels are most likely the best option for getting rid of dull and dead skin cells. For the party season, you don’t need to go for the deep peels like Cosmelan and Dermamelan. Stick to light ones like glycolic peel and the green peel. The treatment takes about 45 minutes and you’ll get out of there with a clear, fresh and radiant skin.
Who can do it: Superficial facial peels are suitable for all skin types, not unless you’re allergic to any of the ingredients. Also, if you want a super-radiant skin, this would be one of the beauty treatments you should consider. As an added advantage, the peels can reduce fine lines and wrinkles, unclog pores and give you an overall smooth skin.
Youthful Skin With Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion skin treatment works by gently exfoliating dead skin cells from the top layer of your skin leaving your skin feeling supple and radiant. During the treatment, tiny exfoliating crystals are sprayed onto your skin then they are massaged by a vacuum-like instrument, which then sucks back the microcrystals, together with the exfoliated dead skin cells. The treatment takes about 1 hour from the moment you walk in, to when you leave.
Who should do it: Anyone who wants a younger-looking skin, and is tired of their skin looking dull and tired all the time. The treatment is guaranteed to give your skin an immediate new lease of life. But to maintain it beyond the party season, you should do it on a regular basis – at least once a month.
Laser Hair Removal for a Silky Smooth Skin
This is one of the most efficient and fast skin treatments. It might be winter, but you might still want to get rid of some unwanted hair growing on obvious places (upper lip anyone?). Laser hair removal works by practically killing hair follicles at the root, which means you can go weeks without seeing any obvious hair regrowth.
Who can do it: Anyone who wants to get rid of unwanted hair anywhere on their body. The advantage of laser over other methods of hair removal is that it leaves your skin silky smooth and a little firmer than it was before. And depending on the target area, the treatment can take anywhere from 5 minutes (upper lip) to one hour for the full body. Just make sure you go a licensed laser therapist to avoid any risks.
Collagen Regeneration with Induction Therapy
Collagen induction therapy, which is just a fancy name for Microneedling with PRP, is a combination of beauty treatments that take care of several skin imperfections, one of which is dark circles. It is known to improve the skin’s texture in addition to reducing fine lines and wrinkles, and acne scars.
Who should do it: Anyone who is tired of looking tired is a good candidate for this therapy. The treatment works by regenerating collagen, and with an addition of PRP, the benefits are supercharged. 24 hours after having a collagen induction therapy, your skin will look more fresh and alive. The treatment takes about an hour from start to finish.
Baby-soft Skin With Dermaplaning
This is another form of skin exfoliation whereby a dermatologist or medical aesthetician physically gets rid of dead skin by peeling it off your face.
Who can do it: Anyone with a dry and dead top skin layer is a candidate for dermaplaning. The beauty therapist uses a small sterile blade to gently scrape off the dead skin layer, which results in not only smooth skin but induces collagen regeneration, which as we’ve mentioned before, is key to a younger skin. Depending on the condition of your skin, the treatments can take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour.

Great tips! Thanks for sharing. xx
My pleasure… thanks for stopping by 😉
Hi, have you tried the cosmelan peel? Is it great for hyperpigmentation?
Hey, yes I had it (review coming up soon). It works really well for skin pigmentation like melasma… One thing though, don’t do it if you have any special occasions coming up. The skin peels so bad, you might want to stay indoors for a few days. Mine peeled for roughly 8 days, then after that, you have to start using Cosmelan 2 cream, which is not a big issue. Hope this helps…
Great, thank you !
My pleasure…
