When it comes to skincare, many people are drifting more towards natural products. This is pretty understandable considering that the beauty market is flooded with chemical-based products which most do not live to their expected potential. Natural facial cleansers are not only inexpensive but most of them are readily available at home.
I have compiled a few natural facial cleansers that are sure to safely make your skin prettier and smoother.

Castor Oil
Using castor oil as a natural cleanser will leave your skin soft and radiant. Apply castor oil on the skin and massage it in circular motions. Let the oil sit for a few minutes then gently rinse it off with warm water. Although castor oil is the most commonly used oil, other oils can also be used. You can also place a warm cloth close to your oil-covered face for about a minute to open up the pores.

Honey and Lemon – The Natural Facial Cleansers
Anyone who is into natural skincare knows that honey and lemon can be used for more than treating the common cold. Honey mixed with lemon makes the perfect natural cleanser as they both act as a moisturizer and antiseptic. Honey is a natural antibacterial full of antioxidants which prevent acne as well as slow down the skins aging process. Citric acid from the lemon kills acne-causing bacteria and clears away dead skin cells.

Yogurt
Plain yogurt is rich in protein, lactic acid and fat that clean and detoxify the skin. Apply the yogurt to the skin using your fingertips and massage it. Leave it on for about 2 minutes then wash off with warm water.
Papaya Fruit
The papaya fruit is full of nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, and enzymes. To use it as a cleanser, massage the papaya on your skin and leave it on for 15-20 minutes then rinse off. If you don’t have papayas within reach, you can use other fruits such as avocados, bananas, and mangoes. Fresh fruits have enzymes which remove dead skin cells, resolve excess oil and clear pores.

Apple Cider Vinegar
Among other benefits, apple cider vinegar helps in restoring the skin’s PH levels that keep the skin from becoming too dry or too oily, unclogs pores and soothes breakouts. Mix one teaspoon apple cider vinegar with 2 teaspoons water. Apply with a cotton pad, and once the skin dries apply your daily moisturizer.
Just like every other product out there, you have to do a patch test first with the above natural facial cleansers to make sure you are not allergic. Also, remember we are all different and that what might work for your friend might not work for you or the next guy.
