As the temperatures slowly rise on this side of the Sahara, it’s a great idea to start preparing for summer. And we all know that the summers in the Emirates are never a joke. Here is a simple and healthy smoothie to keep your days cool, and your nights cooler. Here’s a big cheers to summer in Dubai as it rushes to meet us.
Ingredients
500ml Coconut water
3 medium watermelon slices
1 cup fresh strawberries
2 mangoes
3 tbsp honey
½ cup natural yogurt
Handful mint leaves
Directions
- Freeze the coconut water until solid in a tray of ice cubes
- Put the melon, mangoes and strawberries, yogurt, honey and the coconut water ice cubes into a blender and blend until smooth
- Pour the puree into tall glasses and garnish with mint leaves
- Make a toast to summer
