Indo-Pak Allure at Barbecue Delights Dubai - The Beautiful Lifestyle

Indo-Pak Allure at Barbecue Delights

Indo-Pak Allure at Barbecue DelightsBarbecue Delights Dubai is one of the best restaurants for iftar in the UAE that’s if you fancy Indo-Pakistan cuisine. During Ramadan, those of you on this side of the world are probably spoilt for choice on where to break your fast at. You could always have your Iftar feast at home, or you can let people like us point you in the most flavorful direction. Today that direction is Barbecue Delights Downtown Dubai.

Indo-Pak Allure at Barbecue DelightsBarbecue Delights restaurant, which has a number of branches in Dubai and Bahrain, is more often than not filled with the most flavorful dishes of South and Central Asia. This time I was at their Downtown Branch for an Iftar dinner, and the chain manager, one Imad Abd Alkader, played a great, jovial and very entertaining host, always suggesting what I should try.

The interiors are tastefully decorated in Pakistani art, and other decorations, with the furniture playing its part – meaning simple table and chairs.

Although Barbecue Delights Dubai Downtown is located in one of the highest ends of Dubai, namely Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, its menu prices are very very fair, and you will be spoilt for choice. There is a wide variety of mouth-watering fusion of barbecued cuisines, tasty desserts and soft beverages from across the region, all available at the buffet table.

Barbecue Delights Dubai Menu

The menu includes an appetizing array of signature grilled meat and seafood, steak house specialties, Afghan and Middle Eastern dishes, vegetarian dishes and desserts. For those in love with Kebabs, at Barbecue Delights Dubai, they arrive fresh off the skewer accompanied by a generous portion of Pulao or Biryani, and these particular kebabs are so far the best I have had. Dishes such as ‘Reshmi Kebab’, ‘Afghani Tikka’, ‘Mutton Ribs’, ‘Mutton Karahi’ and ‘Fish Tikka’ are also a favorite of many, as I saw.

Indo-Pak Allure at Barbecue DelightsFor the vegetarians, the menu options include healthy and nutritious Palak Paneer, tangy and spicy Khattay Baingan and Aloo Zeera, (sauteed potatoes with cumin seeds). As for the desserts, this “Desi” restaurant has a wide variety of sweets and more sweets, and then some, including Gulab Jamun, Jalebis, Shahi Tukre, Custard, and many others.

A Spicy Affair

Although I could not pronounce most of what is on the Barbecue Delights Dubai menu, I surely could eat most of it, considering it was not as spicy as you would expect in a restaurant serving South and Central Asia cuisine; which for me is just perfect because in as much as I like spicy food, I prefer it more with just a little kick, instead of kicking you so hard to the point where you eat with tears streaming down your cheeks.

For a measly AED 95 for adults and AED 65 for kids, you will be able to eat to your fill, without any limitations, and still, enjoy the warm ‘homely’ vibes the restaurant reverberates.

Check out other Iftar hotspots that I have visited including Flavors restaurant at Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham and the new Sargon restaurant by Naranj also located at Downtown Dubai.
