With almost everything having an organic version, it’s no surprise that there are now organic dermal fillers. I came across them during my laser hair removal session at my currently favorite cosmetics clinic in Dubai.
Last time I wrote about dermal fillers, I was telling you all about them and how they work. Lucky for me, I managed to track down Dr. Juan Tadeo Krogulec, a specialist plastic and reconstructive surgeon, who agreed to share with me information on these organic dermal fillers.
So, what are organic dermal fillers?
According to Dr Juan, these organic fillers which his clinic has recently added to its anti-aging treatments portfolio are from the Neauvia Organic line of dermal fillers. “Basically they offer an organic alternative for volume restoration to the facial structure.”
The organic dermal fillers, he explains, have a high concentration of Hyaluronic acid (HA). “This is a naturally occurring acid within the human body and contributes to the optimal functioning of many body organs.”

What do the organic dermal fillers do?
They guarantee a more natural look after the treatment as well as minimize the risk of adverse reactions. “Hyaluronic acid is widely used in medicine because it is biocompatible and biodegradable, which is just the right component for dermal fillers,” notes the good doctor.
And what makes the Neauvia Organic dermal fillers more natural, according to Dr. Juan, is because of the Bacillus subtilis bacteria. “This bacterium is non-pathogenic to humans and has been used in the production of the hyaluronic acid in the organic dermal fillers, hence allowing them to be perfectly pure.” This purity leaves them unable to cause any hypersensitive response, making the fillers absolutely safe for the human body.
What is the difference between the organic dermal fillers and other fillers?
“Currently, the most popular source of hyaluronic acid is laboratory strains of Streptococcus bacteria. This requires the application of chemical solvents among other things,” he explains. He adds that despite several purifying processes, today’s technology is unable to fully eliminate these impurities from some HA-based ‘normal fillers’. And that is what makes them different.
The Neauvia Organic dermal fillers can be used for, among other things, tissue filling, hydration improvement of the skin, and skin firming. “All this is done within the facial area, and in some cases, the earlobes, lips, and top of feet,” states the Doctor. Some of the qualities of the Neauvia Organic dermal fillers include their consistency, which is natural, in addition to being non-toxic as well as not shifting when injected.
