Here is a simple mango salad recipe that will give you a new style to consume your mangoes. (Serves one person)
Ingredients
- 200 grams grilled chicken, sliced
- 200 grams bag of fresh lettuce cleaned (see how to clean packed lettuce)
- 1 medium ripe mango, well cleaned and cubed
For the Dressing
- 3 tbsp. mustard
- 4 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar (see the benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar)
Directions for mango salad preparation
- Whisk together all the ingredients for the dressing in a container/bowl.
- Add a little salt to taste to the dressing then put aside.
- Put the cubed mango, chicken and fresh lettuce into a separate salad bowl then toss well to mix.
- Drizzle the already made salad dressing over the mixture and toss gently.
- Add a dash of black pepper if you wish.
- You can garnish with raw onion rings or cherry tomatoes.
- Serve immediately with toasted buttery buns or some real German pretzels.
