Another beautiful hot day, another skin treatment to try. Well, this time it was ClearLift laser treatment. Over time, lifestyle choices coupled with sun exposure and age can take a toll on your skin. For some people (I presume) nothing drastic happens, but for most of us, the results of this would be fine lines and wrinkles, not to mention sagging skin and sunspots.
My aesthetics expert of the day was a plastic and reconstructive surgeon in Dubai. As a plastic surgeon, she doesn’t just focus on surgical and invasive stuff. As I found out, she also does laser skin treatments in addition to other non-invasive procedures.

The Consultation
When I met her, the first thing she asked was “What don’t you like about yourself”? My answer was immediate: “I love everything about myself, I just want to diminish some of these fine lines, and if you can do something about my stretch marks and cellulite it would be great!” Well, she asked where the fine lines were (pretending to squint) while ignoring the said stretch marks and cellulite.
Anyway, the good doctor stated that she doesn’t see any fine lines on my face and that I had beautiful skin, etc. but, we can do a laser treatment to diminish the lines under my eyes (I didn’t even know that I had some fine lines there). And that’s when I decided to do the ClearLift laser treatment all over my face, which according to her would boost collagen regeneration and improve my skin tone.
The ClearLift Laser Treatment
As I waited for the laser machine to ‘fire’ up, I expected the nurse to apply some topical numbing cream; after all, it is a ‘laser facelift treatment’. But that’s not the case. She told me that I would not feel anything during the procedure.
Just like all other laser treatments, everyone has to wear protective eyeglasses, including the patient. After everything was ready and my face was quickly cleansed, I braced myself for whatever was going to happen. I think I expected some stinging of sorts.
When she started, I swear I couldn’t feel anything; not even heat. Everything was dandy except for the popping sounds here and there, which I didn’t understand. While doing the treatment, the doctor was busy explaining what the treatment does, under what circumstances it can be used, and all that.

Everything You Need to Know About the ClearLift Treatment
- The ClearLift laser treatment, also known as laser facelift, lunch-hour facelift, or collagen booster is a non-surgical, non-invasive skin treatment that targets skin imperfections like skin laxity, sunspots, fine lines and wrinkles, and uneven skin tone.
- The laser, made by Alma® lasers, is one of the most comprehensive Q-Switched Nd:YAG treatment solutions available today.
- It is considered safe and effective for thin and delicate areas of the skin such as the face, neck, and decollete, and can be used on all skin types. This is important because most lasers are not compatible with darker skin tones.
- ClearLift laser is based on a unique method of energy dispersion, emitting narrow pulse widths with multiple peaks of energy, resulting in more effective treatment.
- And last but not least, the treatment procedure is fast and virtually painless with zero downtime, which means you can get back to minding the business that pays you immediately after.
That said, twenty minutes later (or less) my treatment was over. The nurse applied some Fucidin and I was ready to go continue minding my business. But before that, she insisted that I adhere to applying sunscreen, and not slack on it.

ClearLift Laser Treatment Results
This might sound a bit corny but ten minutes later after my treatment, my face was glowing like I just had one of those red-carpet skin peels. Actually, it reminded me of the time I had the Glycolic acid skin peel.
Moving on, 7 days later after the treatment, I could barely notice the ‘fine lines’ under my eyes, and my overall facial skin looked healthy and beautiful (for lack of better words). Since collagen regeneration is a gift that keeps on giving, the results will keep on getting better.
I had one concern though. A couple of years back I did the Hollywood laser peel, also known as carbon peel or carbon laser, and a few days later my face broke out like it’s been waiting its entire life to break out. Then after a few days of sharing my review, I realized I was not the only person who broke out after this Hollywood peel.
So, I was hoping against all hope that I don’t break out; suffice to say, it hasn’t happened so far, although I have a zit on my temple, which I hope is not a result of the ClearLift treatment.
That said, have you ever tried the ClearLift laser treatment or any other laser treatment? How was your experience? Also, if you have any questions regarding this particular treatment or any other you think I can help with, feel free to leave a comment.

Wow! That sounds effortless. But can you put up before & after pics too please?
Definitely, will be up in a moment. Thanks for stopping by xo
Can you please mention the price and if you noticed any change of dark circles. Also is only one treatment necessary? Was it worth the money? Thank you
Hi Noelene, the cost was Aed 3000 per session (roughly USD 800). Yes, the improvement was drastic, the treatment brightens up the skin – including dark circles. Was it worth the money? Definitely. Also, the number of sessions depends on how severe the dark circles are. I did only one session.
