A week ago, I received an E Oil sample, which I’m supposed to use and report back on if or how it works. So far so good (ish). So, this little sample got me thinking about the benefits of vitamin E essential oil, which I already use (on and off) anyway.
Vitamin E essential oil, also known as alpha-tocopherol is found in most nuts, fruits, seafood, and green leafy vegetables. It is both a nutrient and an antioxidant and can be found in many skin care products (like my little sample). Vitamin E essential oil can also be found in either liquid or capsule form (as a supplement).
Some of the benefits of vitamin E Essential Oil for the Skin Include:
Skin Softening
If you are battling rough skin, then vitamin E essential oil could be your knight in shining armor because it is packed with moisture and antioxidants. The pure version of the oil (which I get from Nature’s Key) is thick and quite sticky and is not recommended for daily use as a moisturizer. However, mixing vitamin E essential oil with some olive oil should do the trick. Plus, olive oil contains oleic acid which makes it possible for the skin to be more permeable and hold in moisture.

Anti-Wrinkle
Wrinkles not only come with age but are also caused by free radical damage and poor skin care habits (hence the reason Botox was invented). Fortunately, vitamin E oil can prevent wrinkles by blocking this free radical damage. It also reduces wrinkles and fine lines by boosting collagen production and aiding in new skin cell growth as well as speeding up cell regeneration. Applying this oil at least three times a week together with your normal night cream reverses the signs of aging.
Treats Sunburn
Since vitamin E oil is full of antioxidants, it can neutralize the effects of free radicals caused by UV radiation. Rubbing a little of the oil on the sunburnt area soothes the sunburns.

Diminishes Brown Spots on the Skin
These spots are caused by either free radical damage, aging or poor liver function. Vitamin E essential oil when applied on the brown spots repairs the free radical damage, lightens, and smooths the rough skin. It also aids in cell regeneration and moisturizes the skin.

Stretch Marks
I have never seen any product or skin treatment that completely gets rid of stretch marks. But on the plus side, there are a few that can reduce the appearance, and this includes applying vitamin E essential oil on the skin. Why? Because it simply increases the levels of nutrients in the skin.
