Beauty of Eating – Simple Brussels Sprouts Recipes

Garlic butter Brussels sprouts

Ingredients

Four cups Brussels sprouts

3 tbsp. butter

2 tsp minced garlic

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Clean the sprouts well and remove the stem ends as well as the tough discolored outer leaves.
  2. Steam the sprouts for about 10 minutes. Make sure you maintain their crunchiness.
  3. Melt the butter then put it aside.
  4. Take a little of the butter and use it to cook the garlic in for about 3 – 4 minutes.
  5. Add the garlic and butter mixture to the rest of the melted butter and mix well.
  6. Put the steamed sprouts in a serving dish then pour the melted butter and garlic mixture over it.
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste then serve while still hot with meat of your choice.
